Vineyard Dance

Title: Vineyard Dance
Scientific Name: Neuròptera (lacewing) & Rothschildia orizaba (Saturniidae - silk moth)
Medium: Adobe Photoshop

I'm not sure if lacewings may have agricultural value in viticulture. In other crops, I've heard that their eggs are sprayed as their larvae (and adults too) are serious predators. The silk moth has nothing to do with grapes. So, this is a piece of pure artistic fancy. I love to try and get the bugs to dance a bit, so you can almost hear the hum and whirl of their wings.
